Welcome Back to a New Season

Hey there! I know it’s been a few months, but I’m back!

My last blog in May focused on the importance of taking a Sabbath and I felt it in my heart to take the month of June to step away and recenter with God on the direction and next steps for this blog.

As you can see, that turned into 4 months. But the past few months I’ve been praying, researching and reshaping – a new website design, new ideas to include and sharing even more of myself and heart with you all.

I felt some writer’s block during that time and was struggling on what to talk about next. I didn’t want to just push out fluff for the sake of posting something. If there’s one thing to know about me, it’s that I don’t like fluff – I like direct, to the point, easy to navigate and clear. So that’s shaped both my new website layout and how I want to write going forward, starting with a new category of topics: health and wellness.

Let me preface by saying I am not a dietician or health expert. I’m just someone that’s trying to live a healthier lifestyle, and want to bring you along on this journey as I try new things and see what works and what doesn’t.

That’s one side of what’s ahead. There are also some topics I want to talk about that I’m a bit nervous to share. Things I don’t hear many people talking about, but are a part of being a woman. Things I’ve had questions about, struggled with and felt insecure about.

Some of it feels taboo but God placed these things on my heart and I want to create space to address it. I want people to feel safe and seen when they engage with this blog.

It might feel a little embarrassing for me to just put my business out there like that, and the thought of what others will think tries to pop in. But my goal is to better understand things I’ve been embarrassed about, things I’m navigating, and questions I’m generally curious about so that I can have a centered and heavenly perspective about it and help others navigate through it as well.

So I’m hoping we can just be real and open together – no judgment, but honest curiosity and an open heart. It doesn’t mean you have to agree with me on everything, but my hope is we can all try to understand where we are coming from even when we might not agree.

I’m still navigating how all of this will unfold and come together, but I’m doing my best to steward what God has entrusted to me through this blog. I will continue to take the next step and trust God with the rest. Looking forward to sharing more and continuing this journey together!

  1. Thank you for continuing to work through this trying time. I much appreciate reading your blog.

We all struggle with daily life. The future is uncertain for us all but we must keep moving forward. We cannot let past experiences ruin our present and future. Let go and let God. He makes us stronger than we ever could imagine. Love, love and more love is what He is all about. Again, thank you. 🙏🏽

You absolutely make this space feel like your living room…like I’m sitting right beside you with my coffee. ☕️ I can’t wait to see what God has in store for all of us! ✝️🙏💕
